Putting our Inc. on the Line

Housing is a bust!  The dollar's going in the toilet!  Recession (depending on who you consult) is upon us!  Yet as consumers tighten their grip on their budgets, and the businesses they would otherwise buy from suffer that loss, our clients are succeeding.  Matter of fact, not just succeeding, but growing!  Their growth has helped propel us onto the Inc. 5000 list as the 1,363rd fastest growing private company in the country.

As budgets tighten, attention inevitably turns to cutting the fat.  Yellow page and newspaper ads, direct mail and other forms of traditional advertising are all feeling this.  The magic keeping SEM afloat is the total and complete accountability that guides it.  Assuming you have a partner as savvy as we, with tools as robust as ours, you should be able to account for every penny you spend and know what it has returned to you.  You should be able to track ROI by venue, keyword, time of day, day of week, etcetera, etcetera.  That granularity of data provides the insight needed to fine tune strategies and optimize campaigns.

Beyond the attraction side of the equation, the conversion side is equally accountable.  You can employ analytical tools that will tell you where people go, what they look at and for how long, where you lose people and where your message sticks.  All of this helps you refine your message and improve the user experience so that you can improve conversions, and ultimately, return.

No one seems to know where we are heading.  I, for one, am a big believer in the ingenuity of the American people.
