Sr. Account Director – Online Marketing

We are looking for a detail oriented, highly skilled, ambitious, results focused individual to join our team.

The Account Director is responsible for providing the online marketing team and WebMetro’s clients with insight and strategies to grow and maximize the ROI of online marketing initiatives.

This position is highly advisory and requires a well rounded understanding and command of the online marketing arena including, Paid Search, SEO, Analytics and Marketing intelligence tools, landing pages, etc. The position also requires a strong knowledge of traditional marketing and overall understanding of marketing factors impacting business financials.

The position also requires the building of a strong working relationship with both external and internal clients and should be characterized by an ample flow of communications with all the stakeholders of a project and including but not limited to: Managing relationships by communicating project status and issues; Monitoring and understanding client concerns, goals and objectives, conducting reviews and issue meetings; preparing reports and reviewing performance and profitability for both, client and agency.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and advise to account managers and account executives regarding the uncovering of opportunities for client revenue growth within the online marketing field. Analyze competitors and in general ensure the success of each account under his/her direction.
  • Evaluate/Create online plans and strategies to integrate various online marketing efforts leveraging the knowledge acquired from each.
  • Consult and collect information from clients to better understand the opportunities and challenges and to present solutions that will benefit their campaigns. This process includes: review, report, analyze and recommend solutions and/or course of action regarding strategies recommended by WebMetro.
  • Controlling project plan placing media, producing e-Metrics/ Web analytics, executing media contracts, approving changes, reviewing open issues; communicating essential information. Maintaining information system by developing and enforcing documentation requirements; enforcing change control.
  • Participate actively in the development of new online initiatives and offerings alongside the senior management team.
  • Assist account executives and managers with recommendations on Keyword Development and implementation.
  • Online Market Research to meet the desired objectives.
  • Assist in the development of Bid Management strategies and rules.
  • Daily, Weekly and Monthly Reporting.
  • Ensure top performance as well as profitability by all members of his/her team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in, Marketing, Business Administration or Computer Science Degree preferred.
  • Excellent writing and verbal skills and command of the English language.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience with search engine marketing with emphasis in paid search, with a minimum of 2 year in charge of a team and a strong overall knowledge of Internet business. Prior Online Marketing Agency experience is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and the use of tracking and analytics tools such as Omniture, Google Analytics, etc.
  • Must show high initiative and have the ability to present new ideas or solutions to top management.
  • The Manager will be directing the work of several account executives and managers and must have the ability to effectively multi-task
  • Must have the necessary leadership and people skills to inspire and motivate subordinates

SEO Media Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Inbound Link Assessments: Provide analyses of websites from an SEO best practices’ perspective; this includes but is not limited to analyzing various types of inbound links, link quality, link relevancy and keyword selection/utilization
  • Assist account executives with recommendations for keyword selection and link development strategies
  • Conduct web analyses using proprietary in-house technology on results of the SEO work
  • Creation of articles, press releases or other relevant content (on-page and off-page) to help clients’ sites improve organic positioning

Required Qualifications:
