Interactive/ecommerce revenues set to grow

US interactive/ecommerce revenues will reach USD81.1 billion by 2006, according to a study from the Direct Marketing Association.
Sales in the interactive/ecommerce sector rose by 12.1 percent during 2001 to reach USD31.4 billion, up from USD28 billion in 2000.
The financial services industry and transportation services experienced the most growth and ad spending over the past five years and, these are expected to continue to generate profits over the next few years, according to the forecast.
