Web Users More Comfortable With Behavioral Targeting
The "Behavioral Targeting Survey Report" recently published by TRUSTe shows that nearly 84% of people who engage in online searches find that only less than a quarter of the ads they are exposed to are relevant to their searches. Roughly 69% of those who took part in the study claimed that they knew their searches were being tracked and collected for the purpose of online advertising

Which Generations Are Using the Internet in 2009
In the past decade the number of Internet users has changed and escalated dramatically. There are some online activities that in the past were dominated by either younger generations or older generations. Now studies show that these online activities are occurring more laterally in all Internet users that are younger than 73 years old. The following analysis does not include teenage Internet users but rather those who shop, bank, make travel reservations, conduct work-related research, download videos, email, obtain health information and make purchases online.

Survey concludes Internet access offers great untapped potential-Advertising
A stunning 78% of all online consumers worldwide access the Internet through a broadband connection, a new report from research company Ipsos Insight says. That`s up 41% in only three years—in 2003, 56% of users accessed the Internet via broadband. Not surprisingly, Ipsos predicts that broadband adoption has just about topped out.

The number of U.S. Hispanic Internet users is expected to hit 20.9 million by 2010, with growth driven primarily by Hispanic youth, according to a new report from eMarketer. Thats a 33% increase from 15.7 million users at year-end 2005.
