This statistic is from a report by AnswerThink. The consulting firm also found that 88 percent of retail sites displayed detailed product information, up from 50 percent in 2000.
Seventy-three percent of the sites studied offered their users advanced search facilities, up from 59 percent in 2000.
The percentage of sites offering multiple shipping options also increased during the same period: up to 93 percent, from 71 percent.
