03/26/2002
Newsbytes reports that the majority of political candidates in the US aren’t using the Internet as a campaign tool.

This is according to a new study undertaken by The Bivings Group.

Of those who do have campaign sites in place, only 42 percent are designed to take secure donations.

The study also reveals that Republicans are more likely to maintain functioning Web sites than Democrats

Republican operated sites are also easier to find, and more likely to take political donations online than Democrat sites.
