The Expanding Blogosphere [8/9/2005]

With a new blog being created every second, the blogosphere has doubled in size in just the last five months, according to a new report from Technorati.

A new blog is being added to the list at the rate of one every second, which translates into roughly 80,000 new weblogs every day.

Technorati reports that 55% of all blogs are active
